Installation procedure of standard hook shot blasting machine

Hook shot blasting machine is disassembled after installation and commissioning in a production plant and transported to the user's site for installation. Although there is no ground pit requirement, should pay attention to a firm foundation, anchor bolt holes must be standardized, secondary watering should be after chamber adjustment, the anchor nuts can be fastened after solidification to make chamber fixed before installation other parts. The installation of relevant components is described separately below.

Components Installation of Hook Shot Blasting Machine

1. Shot blaster:

The shot blaster of the hook shot blasting machine has been installed in the chamber at the factory. Before using, check whether the position of blades, shot pelletizing wheel, directional sleeve and guard plate are fixed accurately and firmly, and turn on the power to check the direction of rotation. Then adjust the position of the opening of the directional sleeve. Theoretically, the angle between the front edge of the directional opening and the front edge of the blade projection position is about 90. After fixing the position of the directional sleeve, the position of the projection area can be detected. The method is to place a steel plate or wooden board on the position where the workpiece is hanging and facing the opening of the industrial shot blaster, actuate the shot blaster and put a small amount (2-5 kg) of shot into the shot-feeding tube. After stopping the machine, check whether the position hit on the steel plate is suitable, lower the opening of the directional sleeve if it is higher, and in a similar way until it is suitable, and note down the position of the directional sleeve as the basis for later replacement. 

2. Hoist and screw conveyor:

First, carry out a no-load test to check whether the running direction of lifting bucket and spiral blades is correct, then tighten the belt of the hoist to moderate tightness to avoid running off, and then carry out load test to check the operation and conveying capacity of the machine, whether there are unusual noises and vibrations, check and settle troubles.

3. Pellet separator:

First, check whether the gate plate is flexible, then check the proper position of the dividing plate, then check whether the steel shot is flowing in continuously when the hoist under load and whether the steel shot falls in the form of flow curtain.

Key Points for Commissioning of Hook Shot Blasting Machine

The hook type shot blasting machine should pay attention to five points during commissioning, which is as follows:

  1. Check whether the parts of the machine are firmly connected carefully;

  2.  Lubricate in accordance with the requirements of Part VI of this manual.

  3. No-load commissioning for 2-3 hours;

  4. If no problems are found in the above steps, open the hoist and screw conveyor and add about 600 kg of new steel shots into the equipment from the door of the shot blasting chamber. These steel shots are conveyed by the screw conveyor and lifted by the hoist and are finally stored in the hopper under the separator. Once actuate the machine, these shots will flow into the shot blaster through the electric shot-feeding gate at the lower part of the hopper and blast the workpiece in chamber。

  5. Pay attention to the position of the directional sleeve of the shot blaster when adjust the shot blaster to ensure the shot is ejected completely over the workpiece, otherwise the cleaning efficiency will be affected. When installing, apply black ink or lay a piece of thick paper on a board, place it on the position of the workpiece, start the shot blaster, manually add a small amount of shot into the shot-feeding tube, check the position of the shot area, if the position of the shot area is incorrect, the directional sleeve should be adjusted to obtain the desired position. After adjusting the directional sleeve, the load test can be carried out, and should add 400 kg shots after running 30 minutes.
